Lumens launches to the professional A/V market the new PTZ camera VC-TR1 soon available at imaginArt; equipped with a unique automatic tracking system with face recognition technology.
It features 3 advanced tracking modes Stage Tracking, Everywhere Tracking and Partition Tracking, each with its unique functions are ideal for different A/V applications (distance learning, large events or presentations…).
The Stage Tracking mode ensures that a target on a stage will be tracked smoothly and constantly to broadcast/present high quality video; in Everywhere tracking mode mode, the speaker can leave the stage to interact with the audience and the VC-TR1 system is able to move without the need for any tracking device or external hardware. There are no space or connectivity restrictions, even if the speaker is hidden by other people. Finally, Partition Tracking creates up to four preset zones for a presenter to walk in a specific area; furthermore these three modes can work together.
These different tracking modes save cost and time while delivering amazing video quality and dynamically with their different scene options.
Previously, using a traditional video camera system for remote learning or large events was a challenge as it could only provide a fixed field of view and needed to be equipped with additional, external hardware or camera operators to obtain motion; the Lumens VC-TR1 auto-tracking camera integrates a PTZ camera and another camera with 112° panoramic optics. Thanks to the dual-lens design, it can capture the entire field of view and simultaneously track the speaker, while in the process of tracking, the VC-TR1 can automatically change the video frame. The audience not only sees the speaker but can also see the speaker’s content or presentation material. With the VC-TR1 there are not only no limitations but it enhances the learning experience!
